MDS Senior Secondary School was established in the year 1996 at Sector 3, Hiran Magri, Udaipur under the aegis of Smt. Mohan Devi Somani Memorial Trust with an aim of contributing to nation building by imparting world class education to young students. The last few years have been exhilarating for the institution. From a fledging new start up, the school has grown in infrastructure and stature and is today recognised as one of the leading educational institutions in the city. MDS was affiliated to CBSE in 2005-06 and has established itself as a BRAND in Udaipur and nearby cities and towns.
The institution has also developed MDS KIDS WORLD as one of the leading Playgroup schools which meets international standards. Innovation has been the hallmark of our institution during these years of growth and MDS has many firsts to its credit like Unique Early Education Child Media Lab, innovative summer camp – Srajan, broadband enabled state of the art computer lab, wifi campus, implementing teaching aids in Hi-Tech classrooms, e-learning with Apple iPads, synthetic track with synthetic turf field for sports like Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Tabel tennis, Chess and is now developing high end Robotics Lab.
The institution continues on the path of progress and besides expanding its existing two campuses (Sector-3 campus and Pratap Nagar campus) in the city of Udaipur, it has also acquired sites in multiple cities and towns (Kapasan, Salumber, Amet and Udaipur) with an aim to expand the MDS network. The honesty, sincerity, perseverance, assiduity and dedication with which MDS is operational, it is our sincere belief that the journey of growth of MDS and its students will carry on unabated and the institution will continue to scale greater heights while establishing itself firmly as one of the finest educational institutions. MDS Senior Secondary School aims at providing the fullest opportunities to its students to develop an all- round personality in addition to scholarly pursuits.
